What is Home Equipment Loans Service?

Home Equipment Loans Service is a countywide service, which provides equipment on loan to children and adults of all ages with illness and /or disabilities who require equipment to help with their nursing, social and rehabilitation care. Provision of equipment helps people to maintain their independence and remain in their own homes.

How can you help?

Please look in your cupboards and sheds for any equipment that was loaned to you or a relative by a District nurse, Occupational Therapist or Health worker. We understand that there are many reasons why equipment is no longer used, but if you can't use it, someone else may be able to. If you or a relative have been loaned equipment that you no longer require or use please contact Home Equipment Loans Service. We will arrange collection and ensure this equipment is loaned to other people who will benefit from it.
