Why is Durham County Council supporting the use of Communigate?

• It's already widely used - There are already over 2000 community groups using this facility and it makes sense to join up with an existing resource.
• It's free - for every charity and community organisations throughout North Yorkshire, County Durham, Cleveland and Tyne and Wear.
• It's easy - you don’t have to be an expert. You won't need any previous web- authoring experience or any costly software. In no time at all you'll be confident to expand or update your site whenever you want. Training can be provided.
• It's safe - your individual password means that no-one else can alter your pages, except you.
• It's reliable Communigate is hosted by This Is the North East, the news and information website owned by Newsquest (North East) Ltd, publisher of the Northern Echo, Darlington and Stockton Times and Advertiser series of newspapers.
