The Council Chamber

This comfortable, spacious, wood panelled forum provides the perfect venue for conferences, lectures, meetings, concerts, film or video presentations together with many other uses.

It is equipped with a public address system, audio visual facilities and provides access to equipment for computer presentations to be undertaken using SVGA projectors. An induction loop is also installed.

It is also licensed for civil weddings and its centre aisle and comfortable seating make it an ideal setting for that special day.

It has seating for 130 people including a public gallery which seats 70.
